Cicci Santucci

Francesco, aka 'Cicci' Santucci is one of the most essential Italian Jazz trombonists on the international scene.

Born in 1939, he graduated from the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1971.

Cicci worked for over 20 years in the Italian RAI TV orchestra and collaborated with some of the most important Jazz musicians in history: Sonny Rollins, Max Roach, Kenny Clarke, and Lionel Hampton, among others.

He also arranged music for iconic Italian composers like Ennio Morricone, Armando Trovajoli, Riz Ortolani, and more. In the 1980s, he experimented with Disco and Electronic music in his studio in Rome and produced background music for TV and commercials.
