SXSW 2013 with APM

12 Feb 2013

Are you planning a trip to SXSW 2013? If so, let's meet!

APM Music will be at SXSW in Austin from March 12th-17th and we’d love to catch up about your music needs!

Email Gregg Allen at or fill out the form at the bottom of this page to set up a meeting.

While in town, we hope you’ll also attend the “Writing for Music Libraries” panel featuring APM Music president Adam Taylor.

About this panel:  Did you know that the majority of music used on television, in brand commercials and on digital websites comes from music libraries and not artist catalogs? Writing for a music library allows composers and artists to build their composition skills, expand their musical vocabulary and generate income on an on-going basis...and it can be done in your spare time while you pursue your core artist career. More and more well know artists are now writing and recording for libraries in between album releases and tours.

Join this exciting panel featuring:

  • MODERATOR: Steve Knill EVP, Music & Entertainment GMR Marketing
  • Adam Taylor, President, APM Music
  • Chris Douridas, Music Supervisor KCRW-FM / School Night
  • Gooding, Kingdom 2 Music
  • Joey Peters, Artist/Composer

What:   Writing for Music Libraries
When:  Wednesday, March 13, 5pm - 6pm
Where: Austin Convention Center, Room 13AB
