CPM introduces the "Revive" series with the release of Magical Christmas (CAR 423)! 

Those of you familiar with the CPM Archive will already know what an incredible collection of vintage American and British recordings are available. For those of you that don’t, we strongly recommend you take a listen. We have painstakingly restored, re-mastered and re-compiled, from the original master tapes, authentic material from the 20’s through to the 60’s. This material represents the history of early American television and encompasses many genres…

…but we want to take it further now and so the "Revive" series is born!

“Revisited and Revitalised Archive:”
Amongst this archive are many outstanding gems, incredible melodies and arrangements and we want to bring the best of them to the surface, unearth them, revisit and revitalise them.  We’re going to re-position, push music from one genre to another, re-edit, re-arrange and re-record to create tracks that are fresh, fun, exciting, relevant to the here and now and above all unique.

That’s what the CPM "Revive" series is all about.

Magical Christmas (CAR 423): 
Many of the tracks we selected for this album were not previously Christmas-related, but we've added a generous sprinkle of Christmas sparkle - sleigh and tubular bells, vibes and glockenspiel and we know you’re going to love this album as it evokes the excitement, spirit, magic and romance of how Christmas's used to be.

We have some very exciting "Revive" releases in the pipeline so watch this space for the next in the series, due early 2012.
